Bond University Rugby Club

In March 2014, a new force entered the Queensland Premier Rugby competition with the official launch of the Bond University Rugby Club.

Bond became only the third university in Australia to field a rugby team in Premier competition with the evolution of the Bond University Rugby Club from a partnership which began in 2013 between Bond University and the 17 year old Gold Coast Breakers Rugby Club.

The Bond University Rugby Club represents a partnership that blends the local heritage and experience of the Breakers Rugby Club with the University's strong sporting tradition and professional rugby alliances.

Bond University Rugby Club offers a unique pathway for aspiring and talented young rugby players to advance their careers, both on and off the field.
