Queensland Rugby Union today announced Bond University has signed a three-year agreement across multiple categories.
Bond University will remain naming-rights partner of National Rugby Championship side Queensland Country for the next three years, while also expanding its commitment to Queensland Rugby by becoming official coach partner of the St. George Queensland Reds and the university partner of QRU.
As part of their sponsorship, Bond University’s logo will feature on the Reds’ coaching apparel.
Based on Queensland’s Gold Coast, Bond University is Australia’s first private non-profit university and boasts the title of Australia’s highest rating university for educational experience according to the 2016 Good Universities Guide.
Garry Nucifora, Bond’s Executive Director of Sport, said: “Bond University is excited about it’s new three-year partnership with Queensland Rugby and the Reds.
“Expectations are high that this partnership will not only complement Bond’s already strong Rugby presence in both the Queensland Premier and NRC competitions, but also that the educational opportunities such a partnership affords will be substantial for all Bond students.
