Two heavy hitters from rugby’s Super Series – the Western Force and Melbourne Rebels - will go head to head in a pre-season trial match at Bond University on Monday 6 February, from 6.30pm.
Bond will welcome back a few familiar faces from the Western Force - former Queensland Reds’ and Wallaby player Ben Daley who is also a Bond alumnus, and Richie Arnold, who started his rugby career here at Bond in 2015, playing in the reserve Grade Premiership winning team.
Both teams will be making good use of Bond’s worldclass facilities throughout the week, including the rugby fields, new Sports Centre, Olympic Pool and the ‘Bullshark Cage’ High Performance Training Centre at the Bond Institute of Health and Sport (BIHS).
Entry to the trial match at the Bond University rugby fields is free for everyone. Both teams will also be having open training sessions on the Bond Rugby Fields throughout the week.
