Sport at Bond University

Bond University, Australia subscribes to an edu-sport philosophy, ensuring our students have the same quality of opportunities both academically and with their sporting endeavours.

Facilities

In 2016 Bond unveiled a brand new world class Sports Centre. The Centre is truly the jewel in the crown of Bond Sport. All students get free access to Bond’s wide range of sporting facilities. In 2018, Bond opened the brand new Fabian Fay Rugby Clubhouse & upgraded sporting change room facilities.

UniSport Nationals

UniSport Nationals are one of the MUST-DO experiences for all sport loving students! On offer are UniSport Nationals Div 1 & Div 2 events, plus multiple standalone events including swimming, triathlon, marathon and athletics. There are a range of sports from social to the elite level. At Bond our teams wear the Bull Shark colours with pride and we always punch above our weight! Bond is the 2017 & 2018 North Region & Australian Per Capita Champion.

Bond Elite Sport Program

At Bond we pride ourselves on being an Elite Athlete Friendly University. Athletes at the very top of their sport have the chance to join Bond’s Elite Sport Program (BESP).

BESP will allow student athletes to pursue their goals on the sport field AND in the class room. It's all about balance!
